Uh, what?
While it's true that many women do in fact choose to work less hours than men in many industries and as such get paid less, this doens't remove the fact that some people do try to exploit them for sxist reaosn even when payign them. While few and far between it's still soemthign to eb concerned about.
If you're being paid less for doing the exact same job, for the same hours etc, just because your gender, that is illegal (and has been for a while), sue them.
I agree, but you neglect that fact that soem people are psychologically manipulated from birth by their parents this includes young girls into thinking they are second class citizens and deserve less pay than men. Kind of like how radical feminists are teaching their sons that they should just kill themselves, because "all men are evil".
So I fully agree with you...but the level of factors that could be present make in incredibly hard to know why someone is okay with being oppressed. Kind of like how with the furry fandom, a child could view the negative treatment of the fandoms members as a sign that by liking Mickey Mouse they are less of a human being.
It's all stupid since it's based on people being a-holes...but it's there.
